Linear module is widely used in the field of automation industry, it is relatively differentiated in the development of different automation industries. So when choosing linear module, we should consider all kinds of factors. The following are the main factors that need to be evaluated.

1. Vibration resistance and stability: stability refers to the performance that there is no self-excited vibration under given operating conditions; Vibration resistance refers to the ability of the mold assembly to receive forced vibration and impact.

2. Stiffness is particularly important for precision machinery and instruments. The deformation of the module includes the deformation of the guide rail body, the contact deformation of the guide rail pair, and the ability of the guide rail to resist the force deformation. The deformation will affect the relative position and guiding accuracy of the components. Both of them should be considered.

3. Motion sensitivity and positioning accuracy motion sensitivity of linear guide rail refers to the small stroke that the moving component can achieve; Positioning accuracy refers to the ability of moving components to stop at a specified position. The motion sensitivity and positioning accuracy are related to the type of guide rail, friction characteristics, motion speed, transmission stiffness, mass of moving components and other factors.

4. Accuracy persistence: refers to the ability to maintain the original geometric accuracy in the working process. The accuracy of the module mainly depends on the wear resistance and dimensional stability of the guide rail. The wear resistance is related to the data matching, force, machining accuracy, lubrication mode and the performance of the protective device. The main factors affecting the guiding accuracy are the geometric accuracy of the guide bearing surface, the structural type of the guide, the contact accuracy of the guide pair, the surface roughness, the stiffness of the guide and supporting parts, the oil film thickness and stiffness of the guide pair. The stability of the single axis arm is related to the structure of the guide rail, the material matching of the guide rail pair, the lubrication condition, the nature of the lubricant and the stiffness of the transmission system of the guide rail motion. When selecting the slide module, first determine the need for manual conditioning or motor control, and then determine the displacement stroke, load size, displacement accuracy, resolution, desired dimensions, whether quantitative.
